Starting 1 September 2017, I have accepted a new position as Associate Professor at the Economic and Social History Group of Utrecht University. I will continue to pursue my research project “Industriousness in an Imperial Economy”, running until 31 December 2017. From 2018 onwards, I will be teaching several courses, among them the 1st year BA course “The City in History”. Furthermore, I will continue to extend my research line “The Comparative History of Households, Gender and Work”.
